When deploying a project to a certain customer’s servers, for a couple of reasons, we have to do it by manually copying over the files to a certain directory over RDP and SSL VPN. To speed up the transfer, we zipped the files on our development machines, since it’s quicker to copy one big file than many small ones.

  3. Extract the zip file. If u dont use a debian-based distro idk how to do. Make sure u have python. If u dont have python run sudo apt-get install python3. Also make sure ur python install has tkinter module. If u dont have run sudo apt-get install python3-tk. Extract the zip file. Cd to directory where game files are located.
  4. Want to start off by saying that this is single headedly the greatest piece of software I've ever had,it's cute,it's simple and just fun. Was Just wondering if anyone else was having some issues using it on multiple monitors where The Duck isn't visible on secondary monitors or memes/texts are seen on the secondary monitor before being dragged onto the main monitor.

Download the desired.zip file for your platform. If you don't have a.zip file extraction program, download 7zip or WinRAR. The files should already be in a folder when you extract it. Note: If your downloading the BFNS+ OS Project version, you need Unity 2018.3.9f1 to open the project's files.

Unzipping on the (Windows) server was a bit tedious (right-click, extract here, yes overwrite, etc.) so we cooked up a small VBScript that did the extraction. The code below is saved as ‘unpack.vbs’.

The code contains the hardcoded name of the zip file, gets the absolute path names of the source and destination, followed by instructions to copy the files from the zip to destination. The ’16’ in the options means to overwrite without asking. Finally, there’s some cleanup taking place.

What this script allows us to do is instead of manually unzip, choosing to overwrite, etc, just double click on this script file. That’s one itch less.
